While we were on Cape Cod last week, we decided to stop at Eden Hand Arts to buy the original Cape Cod bracelets (the one with the ball on them).  My mom, my cousin, my aunt, my grandmother, and I decided to go.  This was the first time there for all of us.  We had heard about the exclusive store before- it was run out of a small house and you had to request tickets for an appointment to go and get a Cape Cod bracelet made for you.

My cousin got our tickets and a few days later we were on our way!  It was a little difficult to find- but we eventually found the cute little house.  We had to wait in line for a little bit because the store is very small and they only allow a few people in at a time so they can make sure to help you out.  Once we got in there, we saw all of the different bracelets to choose from.  I ended up not only getting the original Cape Cod bracelet, but also found a cute one with whale tails (if any one knows me, they know I am obsessed with whales and dolphins).  My cousin, who already had a Cape Cod bracelet, ended up getting the whale tails as well and the really cute fish bracelet pictured above.

All in all, it was a really fun experience to have with family and we all walked away with at least one custom made bracelet!  If you are ever on Cape Cod, I would definitely recommend going!

This outfit is a combination of three of my favorite things: lace, chambray, and sparkly jewelry! I have had this skirt for awhile (it was a great find a few years ago at Forever 21) and it is still one of my staples in the summer time.  I also have a few chambray shirts because you can never go wrong with any of those during any season.  What are some of your summer time wardrobe staples?

We just got back from a fun week on Cape Cod with my dad's whole side of the family.  The weather was perfect except for the day of the 4th of course when the hurricane decided to grace us with it's presence.  We always have the whole family go to church together one day while we are out there and this is my outfit from the day all 25 of us went to mass.  I bought this dress and have just been waiting to wear it for the 4th of July week!  I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

I absolutely love this Ella Moss grey sweater with the floral lace on the bottom.  I saw this recently in a store a knew that I had to have it!  It can easily be dressed up or down with legging and flats or with nice jeans and heels.  I have it paired here with my favorite purple jeans and a sparkly statement necklace.  Have a great day!

I just found this amazing top at Nordstrom by Kate Moss for Topshop and I am obsessed.  I love the bead work of the stars on this top and it's unique look.  It is a perfect addition to my summer wardrobe.  Have a great week everyone!

Pink Jeans!

I picked up these pink/coral jeans last summer and they have become a wardrobe staple during the summer months, especially on cool California nights.  I was worried at first that I would have a hard time pairing them with top that were not white or black or very neutral.  I know I have it paired with a white top here, but stay tuned!  You will see that these jeans do go with a lot more!

Colorful

This dress has been one of my favorite purchases this summer!  I have been able to wear it as a sundress during the day with flat sandals and a jean jacket and also out to dinner at night with heels and a black cardigan.  I wore it out the other night for my husband and I's anniversary.

Summer Lace

I have been meaning to start blogging my outfits for a very long time now! Weirdly, one of my favorite things to do in the morning is decide what to wear and I absolutely love putting outfits together. So, please bear with me as I give blogging a try.  I am always reading different fashion and design blogs and have always wanted to try it myself! 

 I bought this dress on sale this past fall from Ann Taylor and am absolutely in love with it!  I am so glad that it is summer time again and I am able to pull out all of my favorite dresses.
